The Dutch Windmills

Did you know some of these windmills date from as long back as  the 17th century? Or that they are still working the same way as when they were built, producing the same goods as they then did? Zaanse Schans, as is this site called, lies just a 30 minutes drive from Amsterdam.

During this trip you will also visit the famous village of Volendam and Edam, one of the most Dutch beautiful old cities, known for its cheeses.
